Speech, language and communication skills are the building blocks for learning. Since 2004 Stoke Speaks Out has trained over 8000 practitioners in key messages around early attachment, child development and communication skills. Since the programme was set up in 2004 we have seen a huge improvement in Stoke-on-Trent in children's language development.

As well as resources we offer training and support for all practitioners in the workforce working with children under 7 and their families. We also provide practitioner networks to discuss and offer support for speech, language and communication skills.
